At the start of the month there were rumors going around that Apple were going to start sending invitations out from October 10th for an event that was speculated to take place October 17th. The rumored event was for an iPad Mini announcement however, the latest rumors circulating suggest that the event will actually be October 23rd and the delay is due to production problems.
At the event, Apple are expected to announce an 7.85 inch iPad, dubbed the iPad Mini in eight different variants. There will supposedly be an iPad Mini available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants with Wi-Fi only. Apple are also expected to announce iPad Mini’s with cellular radio capabilities, again in the four different storage options.
The basic model, a Wi-Fi only 8GB iPad Mini is expected to go on sale for €249/$322/£200, while the most expensive option will total €649/$841/£523.
