Spotify announce Android Wear app
Owners of smart watches can already control music play back from their arm. The playback controls allow users to skip songs or to go back to the previous track as well as play/pause and change volume. Despite Spotify not being a compatible Android Wear app, play back can still be controlled via a smart watch anyway.
Spotify however, have announced that they will be beginning to roll out an app for your smart watch. The new features will allow you to browse music and play music directly from your ... Continue Reading →

It’s not unusual for companies to discount the price of some of their products over holiday periods and Halloween is no different. Vodafone have reduced the cost of several of their Pay As You Go phones. Of their up to 40% off Halloween offer, the most shocking offer comes in the form of the HTC One M8 handset.

As with any teaser video, Samsung don’t just come right out and say “this is what we are going to announce” but the content of the video seems pretty ... Continue Reading →
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Case Mate slim folio review
Last week I received Case-Mate’s “Slim Folio” case for Samsung’s latest phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Cases to my liking have been hard to come by for the Note 3 so far. After using the Momax case on the Note 2 and then the Belkin Snap Folio case, I wanted something that protected both the front and back of the phone without having a popper on the front of the case which meant pressing on the screen to close the case. I also quite enjoyed being able to use the case as ... Continue Reading →

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 unboxing
Samsung’s latest Galaxy Note phablet has gone on sale in the UK and we take a little look at the 5.7 inch display handset. The Note 3 follows in the steps of the popular Note 2. The Note 3 features a slightly larger display, measuring 5.7″ over the Note 2’s 5.5″ display but, the chassis is for the most part smaller than the Note 2, only the height is increased by a mere 0.2mm.
Overall I’m very impressed with the Note 3 so far. The Note 3 uses a microsim and the microSD ... Continue Reading →

Belkin Snap Folio Note 2 case reviewed
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may be just around the corner but, I’m still loving my almost year old Galaxy Note 2 and have pretty much had the same case since I first got it, the Momax Core case which I reviewed last year. I’ve now had the chance to review the Belkin Snap Folio case for the Note 2, a case that I was also looking at when I received the Momax case. Both cases are quite similar in that the phone sits in the back part of the case and the case covers the screen. Similarly the ... Continue Reading →

Review: Groovy Cable offers four in one USB charging
I was recently invited to try out the four in one charger by Love Cases known as the Groovy Cable. The Groovy cable has a standard USB plug one end that will plug into a USB charger or computer, while the other end features 3 different wires with different connections on them. At the end of one of the wires you’ll find a microUSB connection, suitable for connecting to the majority of most modern phones. Another connection offers Apple’s lightning connector which is compatible with the ... Continue Reading →

Snugg iPad 3 flip stand and case reviewed
A little while back, we had the chance to review the Snugg Portfolio flip and stand case for the Apple iPad. Available for the original iPad, iPad 2 and the third generation iPad, we were lucky enough to try the Snugg portfolio case for all three generations of iPad.
The Snugg case quickly became my favourite case out of all the ones I tried for my third generation iPad, which at the time as I hadn’t had the iPad long, I had within the first month of owning it tried several different cases ... Continue Reading →

Snugg iPad keyboard reviewed
We’ve reviewed iPad cases previously and we were lucky enough to come across Snugg cases that we liked and so we’re going to be reviewing another two of their cases this time around. First up will be the Snugg keyboard case, followed by a review of one of the cases in Snugg’s new colour range.
I’m going to begin by pointing out that I’m constantly on the look out for the best cases to fit my devices. Even when I find my ‘perfect case’ I still continue my ... Continue Reading →
