The Nintendo Switch Lite has proved to be a fantastic device and hugely popular. Just days ago it was announced that since it’s release in 2019, a whopping 13.53 million units have been sold. This is incredibly impressive as the Wii U sold a total of 13.56 million during its lifetime and the Switch Lite is very close to surpassing it.
All the more impressive when Switch users have the choice of the original Nintendo Switch with detachable joy-cons and a dock to play via the TV, as well as an updated dockable Switch with an improved battery. It’s suggested that a lot of households have more than one Switch Lite – ours included.
It normally retails for £199.99 for the console in a choice of turquoise, yellow, coral or grey. Today Amazon has dropped the price down to £179.99. So if you haven’t picked up a Switch Lite yet, or need another one for a family member now is a great time to buy.
