MSI’s first CULV machine will begin shipping late this month/beginning of September. The U200 follows on from the popular MSI Wind U100 which has been rebadged for several companies, but the U200 takes the netbook to the next level with CULV technology. The U200 features the Intel 1.3GHz Pentium US2700 processor, a 320GB hard drive and 4GB of RAM. The CULV PC borders on netbook size with a 12 inch display. Also included in the U200 is a HDMI port, 1.3 megapixel web camera, 4 in 1 card reader and a 6 cell battery, which with the CULV technology is sure to last longer than it would on a standard netbook or notebook. The U200 is available to pre-order in Germany from Notebook.de for 629 Euros including VAT.

the design of the MSI Wind is similar to the basic netbooks you can find around. the price point of this netbook is cheaper than acer or dell netbooks ~
