Rovio have been teasing their faithful followers again and this time they appear to be pointing towards an exciting Star Wars tie in for their Angry Birds gaming series.
The developer announced on their Twitter page that the next big thing was coming soon and linked to a Tumblr page. The Tumblr page which belongs to the Angry Birds franchise, showed an Angry Bird Jedi complete with lightsabre. The page also announced that there will be an official reveal event held in New York on the 8th of October where more information will surely be on the way regarding the latest Star Wars inspired Angry Birds game. If the Angry Birds can join up with Star Wars and make the kind of fun filled game that we saw when the Lego franchise did the same thing then, this should be another successful title for Rovio and the Angry Birds.
