It’s pretty much all but confirmed that Samsung will announce the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 come September 4th, days before the IFA event in Berlin. Yesterday we heard that Samsung were very likely to also announce their own smart watch along side it, known as the “Galaxy Gear”. Press invites have now gone out for the Samsung Unpacked 2 event. In the image Samsung tell us to “Note the Date”, further indicating that September 4th will need be the day the Korean company unveil the Galaxy Note 3 officially, along with the confirmed specifications, something of which has had many conflicting bits of information, especially regarding the screen size.
There is no indication of the Samsung Gear announcement from the invite but, with the original Note and Note 2 both being announced around the same time last year and the year previously, it’s sort of expected that the Note 3 will be announced this time around as well and Samsung know this, where as the Samsung Gear, was perhaps something they could keep secret until the event.
