Snugg iPad 3 flip stand and case reviewed

A little while back, we had the chance to review the Snugg Portfolio flip and stand case for the Apple iPad. Available for the original iPad, iPad 2 and the third generation iPad, we were lucky enough to try the Snugg portfolio case for all three generations of iPad.

The Snugg case quickly became my favourite case out of all the ones I tried for my third generation iPad, which at the time as I hadn’t had the iPad long, I had within the first month of owning it tried several different cases for the device, none of which were quite right for what I needed or wanted. Then along came the Snugg case which I fell in love with as it was not only practical and very well made but, it also had the features and design I was looking for. Previously this particular Snugg case was only available in black and brown colour variations. Snugg however have now made their portfolio iPad cases available in a variety of bright snazzy colours. The Snugg flip and stand case is now available in white, pink, blue, red, baby blue and orange for the iPad 2 and iPad 3. The original iPad cases remain available in only black or brown.

We were sent the red case to review and as before, were very pleased with the quality and fit of the case. All of the features of the case we loved in the black version are still present, such as the hand strap and stylus loop. As before, the iPad 3 fits nicely and feels very secure in the Snugg flip and stand case and is well protected.

The new colours and the brown version cost slightly more to buy than the original black version, retailing at £34.99 direct from Snugg. The company have also made the cases available for the recently announced iPad 4 and should fit just that device as well as the case does on the ‘older’ iPads, as the fourth generation iPad measures the same as the third generation Apple iPad.

The new colours of the flip and stand portfolio case can be found and purchased on the Snugg website.
