The Xiaomi Mi fitness band has proved to be very popular. The band is essentially just the the FitBit or Jawbone Up fitness bands but, at a fraction of the cost. Android Kit Kat out now for Nexus 7 and 10

 Today Google have begun pushing out the latest Android update for their Nexus devices.Android 4.4 came preloaded on the Nexus 5 which was released November 1st but, the latest updates is now making its way on to other Nexus devices, namely the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. The update is for both the 2012 and this year’s Nexus 7. Google announce Nexus 5

Google have announced their latest Android phone in the Nexus range which comes in the form of the Nexus 5. As expected, the Nexus 5 will run Google’s latest version of Android which is Android 4.4, aka Kit Kat (other Nexus devices will receive this update in a few weeks). Nexus 7 2013 model already available to buy at select stores

Google may have said the 2013 refreshed Nexus 7 would be released on July 30th but, some retailers in the US have other ideas. Best Buy is the main example, the company has already shipped out quite a lot, if not all of their pre-orders for the device and customers have already received them, including collect at store deliveries. Google announce refreshed Nexus 7, Android 4.3 and Chromecast

Google have announced a newer Nexus 7 with “refreshed” specifications. The 2013 Nexus 7 features a 1.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, where as last years featured a 1.2GHz quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and 1GB of RAM. Nexus 7 32GB model on the way?

When Google announced their own tablet, they unveiled that it would be available in 8GB and 16GB variants, with no memory card slot. Nexus 7 case makes use of magnetic sleep sensor

Last week we found out that the Nexus 7 had a hidden magnetic sleep sensor. Something which wasn’t publicized by Google but, has been confirmed to be a feature by several sources. MobileFun have uploaded a video showing off one of their Nexus 7 cases and in it we see the case make use of the magnetic sensor in the Google tablet. Here’s something that Google didn’t announce as a feature for the Nexus 7. Someone has discovered that the 7 inch tablet features a magnetic sensor that puts the Nexus 7 to sleep, in a similar way to that of Apple’s iPad 2 and iPad 3. Google announce 7 inch Nexus tablet

There were rumors that Google would be launching their own branded tablet and Google have now officially announced their first tablet. It will also be the first Android tablet to run Android Jellybean, aka Android 4.1 which was also announced by Google today.
