How the Nexus 7 2 stacks up against the iPad Mini
As with most Android tablets launched, there has to be a comparison against one of Apple’s iPad. As the Nexus 7 features a 7 inch display it’s most matched with Apple’s miniature iPad which is outfitted with a 7.9 inch display. Apple event confirmed for October 23rd
Yesterday we heard the latest Apple rumors, specifically regarding a mini iPad and the latest date for their press event. The event and date has now been confirmed as Apple have sent out invites to their latest event. Apple aren’t at all specific as to what the event is for but, the tag line on the Apple invite reads “We’ve got a little more to show you”, perhaps a reference to a little, aka mini iPad.

Apple to hold iPad Mini event October 23rd
At the start of the month there were rumors going around that Apple were going to start sending invitations out from October 10th for an event that was speculated to take place October 17th. The rumored event was for an iPad Mini announcement however, the latest rumors circulating suggest that the event will actually be October 23rd and the delay is due to production problems.
