Toshiba T210 and T230

Toshiba has unveiled two new laptops in the ultra-low voltage range. The models, which are called T230 and T210, are an update of the T130 and T110 range. The laptops boast of a slim design, with thickness of a mere 0.7 inches at the thinnest place and have a battery life of 8.5 hours.

The T210 has a 11.6 inch screen. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel U5400 ULV processor. It will have up to 250 GB hard drive space. It will be shipped with Windows 7 Home Premium. Other features include up to 3GB RAM, HDMI output, flash card reader, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1.

The T230 comes with a larger 13.3 inch screen. It is powered by an Intel Core i3 ULV processor. It has 500 GB hard drive memory and will run on Windows 7. Other features are similar to the T210 and include HDMI output, flash card reader, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1. The T230 comes in black while the T210 will be available in metallic red.

Pricing is yet to be announced. The Toshiba T230 and T210 have been given a July release date in the UK.
